They love filtering through information, piecing together data, and doing tasks that others would find mundane and tedious... A file that needs converted, data that needs to be analyzed, information that needs to be gathered, etc. All they ask in return is the occasional paperclip, thumbtack, or rubber band to munch on.
Business task automation just for you.
A "task" is the encapsulation of a business or data process. Tasklings know how to execute a bunch of generic tasks that are useful for everyone (many of which are free, by the way). You can also request custom tasks for your very specific business needs.
A task is typically composed of three key steps:
Input: You're asked for some input, like a file or some other information. It all depends on the type of task that you're initiating.
Work: Whoa whoa whoa, this isn't you doing the work. The Taskling is doing the work. Now that it has your input, it's churning away. Depending on the task, maybe it's pulling down a bunch of Google search results or modifying a spreadsheet or doing some other helpful thing.
Output: Once the task is done with its work, you're presented with the output. This could be a new file to download with your requested data or a picture or just some regular ol' data. It all depends on the task.
Coffee: This is a secret fourth step. While Tasklings are doing the work, you can get yourself a cup of coffee.

Provided with a list of products, this task will retrieve prices for those products at other competitor retailers. While the data for this demo is fake, it helps illustrate how a simple input file can yield data from other sources via automation. Imagine your own import format, targetted retailers, result summary, etc., that aligns with what your business needs.
Migrate sales data
Sales data is pulled from one system (like Stripe or Shopify or Square), standardized and validated, and then pushed into another system, like your financial system of record. This is a demo, but picture scheduling a task like this to run on a daily basis.
Take some keywords and a webpage, and check if those keywords are ever mentioned on that webpage. Not super useful to run just once, but very useful if you schedule it to run daily or weekly!
Provide a set of search terms and get back how those search terms are trending on Google.

Cute little office monsters aside, we're going to meet face-to-face (virtually), human-to-human! We're going to talk through some of your pain points and figure out which tasks we should automate first. We're going to determine the inputs, outputs, and everything in the middle. And then Tasklings will build it!
Spreadsheets are good.
Spreadsheets are important tools, and they are here to stay. Some other solutions will attempt to re-invent spreadsheets or do away with them altogether, but not Tasklings. We embrace spreadsheets. We live and breathe spreadsheets. In fact, they are oftentimes the critical input and/or output of the tasks that we perform for you.
Predictable billing and project management.
The pricing is pretty simple. You pay the same amount each month, regardless of usage and regardless of the amount of requested custom development. And there's no complex proposal or statement of work documents that we have to align on before we get started. Instead, let's use that time to start tackling the actual problems at hand.
